Job Description
Industry: Corporate Services / FinanceLocation: Malta
Basis: Full time
Remuneration: SalaryMain Duties:
- Accurately calculate wages, bonuses, deductions, and adjustments for all employees.
- Maintain and update employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment conditions.
- Handle payroll-related queries and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Manage leave, sickness, and absences in collaboration with HR.
- Ensure compliance with employment, tax, and social security regulations.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports and statutory filings.
- Assist in improving payroll procedures and ensuring efficiency across processes.
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in payroll administration or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Maltese employment and tax legislation.
- Excellent command of English (Maltese is considered an asset).
- Advanced MS Excel skills and high attention to detail.
- Team player with good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with payroll software will be considered an asset.
