Industry: Financial ServicesLocation: MaltaBasis: Full timeRemuneration: Salary + BenefitsMain Duties:

• Draft and advise on a wide range of legal agreements, including NDAs, service agreements, and client contracts
• Manage corporate transactions and legal due diligence for clients
• Provide strategic legal guidance to clients and company leadership
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and best practices
• Conduct legal research and monitor legislative changes in Malta and other relevant jurisdictions
• Identify and mitigate legal risks in business operations
• Support company formations, restructurings, and cross-border transactions
• Liaise with external legal advisors on complex or litigation-related matters
• Contribute to process improvements and maintain legal templates and policies
• Handle general legal matters and provide support to other departments

What skills do you need:

• Law degree from a recognized institution (LL.M. from the University of Malta is a plus)
• Admitted to practice law in Malta is preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate and civil law
• Strong understanding of contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance
• Familiarity with the gaming or technology sectors is a bonus
• Proficiency in data protection and intellectual property law is an asset
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• Proven leadership abilities with experience managing teams
